Education Counsellor

The key responsibilities include:

  • Drive student recruitment by reaching out to and counselling potential university students.
  • Support existing students by encouraging them to advance to the next stage of their education at the University.
  • Achieve the sales targets set by management.
  • Plan, manage, and oversee departmental events such as Open Days and Public Exhibitions.
  • Implement initiatives and activities within the Sales team to enhance performance and team development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the reporting line manager.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the policies and systems established by the Sales Department.

Skill & Requirements

  • Preferably holds a Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • Prior experience in Sales or Education is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar systems.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin or Tamil is an added advantage.
  • Friendly, approachable, and open-minded personality.
  • Digitally and numerically literate; comfortable working with technology and data.
  • Passionate about education, with some understanding of Malaysia’s education industry being a plus.
  • Willing to learn and driven to succeed.
